Memebox #13 - Cooling Care

Back in September I managed to grab the restock of Cooling Care on Memebox. This is one of the boxes I wanted to try after seeing reviews online, primarily for the sleeping pack (I love sleeping packs/leave on masks). The box was $23 USD plus $6.99USD for shipping. Though it was upgraded to express for free! I also ordered  the Dear by Enprani Bounce Cheese Cream since many raved about it. I have no idea why I did not get the Wine & Cheese box which includes a full size of bounce cheese cream. They were shipped together on September 24th, and I received it October 3rd. It was actually a day slower than my RoseRoseShop order that was sent via Registered Mail. Hopefully it is a fluke.

I am very amused by the way they wrapped the extra bubble wrap. Reminds me of the yangmeori towel hats you see in dramas..

There are five full size items in the box, and I already seen the unboxing so there was no surprise as to its content. I am so happy to see that blue tub of sleeping pack!

The Skin House Aloe Water Mist 

The aloe mist offers to deliver instant replenishment to dry skin and it can replace toner in your beauty regiment. That is perfect! I ran out of toner and will definitely use this in its place. The mist smells just like the aloe mist from Moisture Surge.

Organia White Oragnia Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

It is a large tub of gel that is 98% Aloe Vera. Aloe is great for when you have a sunburn, it will soothe and heal the sunburns fast. We don't get enough sun to get sunburns in Cow Town but it would be a good to have on hand for those few hot days.

Secret Key Intense Ice Sleeping Pack

I admit I was drawn to the sleeping pack by it's blue packaging and the fact that it is a sleeping pack. I love sleeping packs/leave on packs. I don't have to remember to take it off and figure out what to do with the excess serum. (Yes I am that lazy). The sleeping pack contains menthol which gives it the cooling effect, it provides surge of moisture overnight and will help brighten your complexion with continuous use.

When I had it on, I did not feel the cooling effect as promised. But when I tried to put a little more o my nose, that was when the "cool" kicks in! Ooh boy it was a weird feeling having only my nose being cool.

N.S.M Exciting ReBorn Sorbet Melting Tint

The lip tint is to leave a cooling effect on your lips for 30 minutes while its colour will last all day long. Just my luck I got bright pink. I got three lip tints, including two from boxes I received recently, and every single one are bright pink... This one is as pink as the Memebox. I would have preferred a red tint as I have darker lips so pink tint will look odd on me.

I only did a swatch on my hand as I don't think I will actually use it. While on my hand, the swatch did not get cool. It was only when I dabbed the wet swatch onto my lips that the cooling effect kicked in.

Edit: I caved and tried the lip tint. It goes on matte and stays on for a REALLY long time. I could only rub it off if I use a wet towel to wipe it off. I like the staying power, but bright pink REALLY is not my colour.

awesome Aqua Whip Hug Foam Cleanser

The cleanser is made from the Canadian glaciers, yay Canada! It creates fine bubbles that are gentle and penetrate deep into your pores. I have way too much cleansers to go through so I did not open it to see how it does.

Dear by Enprani Bounce Cheese Cream 

It is a deep moisturizing cream that contains whey protein, which are found in cheese, hence the name. The product is thick and stringy like that of fresh mozzarella cheese. Unfortunately for me they packed my cream with the side facing down, so the cream leaked in transport. I emailed customer service and they were quick to get back to me with some memepoints (store credits). Happy ending to a somewhat unpleasant surprise.

The cream is stringy as you can kind of see at the bottom of the jar. I rubbed the leaked cream on the back of my hand and it does seem very moisturizing. Too bad I don't like the smell of the cream, which stays on for a while. So I guess I am going to pass it off to my mom for her to use in the
winter.
