I am linking the Instagram posts in the post as it would shorten the length of this post but still allows for multiple pictures, you just have to click on the arrow button on each post.
Let me preface this review by stating that I received these products complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion. And I linked the title of each product to the Style Korean page to make it easier to look for the product. I get nothing from it, just wanted to make it convenient for everyone. 😊
Peripera - Airy Ink Velvet in #10 Dry Rose Brown:
This newly released colour has a new scent! It has a nice refreshing green tea scent instead of a soapy floral scent to it. I quite like the change!
Other than that, it feels like any other Airy tints. If you want to look for a full review, just click on the Peripera tag on the side or at the bottom of this post.
I think it is a nice MLBB but it has a bluish hue on me which is a bit weird. It doesn't show on the pictures but it's quite present in real life. I am not a big fan of the hue to be honest.
Unpa - Bubi Bubi Lip
This packaging is to die for. The white and the millennial pink~! So cute!
If you click into the actual post, you will see that I actually used this slightly incorrectly. The brand has advised me that it is best used on bare lips, not lips with products on top. It is more of a lip exfoliant than a lip tint remover. Oops. But it does perform well as a lip tint remover!
I tried this again, and found that it worked better as recommended. But I ran into some other issues too, which I will explain at a later post. *Don't worry, I will update here too*
I liked the bubbling function, and how it removes the dead skin. But the price point kills it for me. It's too expensive in my opinion for 12ml of products that I am hoping to get 20 odd uses out of. I could be wrong about the number of usage since that depends on amount of products used each time. But it's still relatively small.
So Natural - Facial Design Deep Pink Mud Mask
This is an interesting mask in that it is clay mask in sheet mask form. The mask is thin layer of gauze that is holding together the mud. It is supposed to go on for 40 to 50 minutes and removed when completely dry. It is quite interesting.
The mask was a very good fit for me and it wasn't too uncomfortable as it was drying. The mask itself became rock hard to the touch but it was relatively easy to remove. It didn't pull off any hair so that's always a good sign.
It reduced the look of the sebus fillaments on my nose, which is what it is designed to do. But it also left my skin feeling very tight, which is either its supposed function of lifting or it's too drying for my skin.
Overall, I liked using this mask. It reduces the mess of doing a mud pack, not completely as you still need to wash off the extra residues. But it's fun and I can see a clear result so I will probably pick it up if I see it on sale.
Heimish - Dailism Eye Palette in Coral Essay
This is such a pretty palette! I don't usually go past neutrals but this is a great palette in my opinion. There are three different types of shadows:
Matte: Pure Peach, Nude Coral and Peach Coral
Shimmer: Pink Coral, Bronze Coral and Litch Brown
Glitter: Coral Glitter and Pink Glitter.
The most difficult shade to photograph was Peach Coral as it is a very cute salmon pink but it shows up as this dusty orange instead. I don't think it's just me as I see it on other people's photos as well, even ones taken with an actual camera.
These shades are decently pigmented, but I feel like that you will need an eye shadow primer. If you scroll through the pictures, I tried applying it with and without primer, and with primer and applied by finger is the most pigmented. (yes, it's not actually eyeshadow primer but it illustrates the point)
I liked the shades, and the application of it. But I am not too happy how it eventually gets caught at the crease of my hooded lid. It just doesn't look good at all. I will need to use eyeshadow primer for sure when I use this palette.
I won't recommend it if you don't have a primer and have hooded eyes.
Heimish - Artless Glow Base SPF 50+ PA+++
This was a surprise find for me! I wasn't expecting much from it but ending up really liking it!
The base is a pink watery cream that has a shimmer to it. It has SPF 50+ PA+++ rating, meaning it provides decent sun protection. But don't forget to reapply if you are using it.
The base spreads and absorbs well. It left my skin feeling moisturized. The shimmer gave my skin a nice glow when I tried it on its own.
What I really like about it is when I used it as a primer under my BB cushion. I have issues with the cushions before in that it highlights all the dry patches and seems to just sit on top instead of blending in. It just didn't look natural to me at all. But with the base on. Oh My Goodness! It looks like my skin! It doesn't look like I have anything on at all. I am so happy! That's what I been looking for when using the BB cushions!
I am not too happy to find out that the tube is actually only half full. That's just annoying. I get why it's done but doesn't mean I have to like it.
That being said, I still quite like the product so I would totally recommend it! BUT.. I would get samples if possible if you are darker skinned. Just because I am not sure how that shimmer will look on dark skin.
Heimish - Bulgarian Rose Water Mist Serum
This is the THE product I was most excited for in the whole box! I love roses and this serum just screams to me as a must try! I was really happy to smell this wonderful rose scent when I opened it. BUT that's the only time I smelled it. After I start using it, I can only smell orange juice like Sunny-D. Which is most likely due to the orange peel oil in the ingredients.
The serum can be used as serum or as a toner. I have been using it as a toner and found it to be quite moisturizing and preps my skin for the rest of the skincare routine.
The mist is quite fine, to the point that I hold it really close to my face and still can't feel it when I spray. It's good in that it doesn't drip and get in my eyes. But I am also using quite a bit of product at once as I don't feel it much. It sinks in quickly even though I may spray a bit more than necessary.
I like the serum and like having it in my routine. But I am undecided if I want to purchase it. I am not sure if I like it so much that I can't go without it in my routine.
Overall, I really appreciate the chance to try the Pink in Blossom box and the different brands. Hope you had fun reading it.
