[JOLSE] 302WHITE II Step Nano Melting Bio Mask 3ea

Hey peeps~ I am back with a dedicated review on these masks I received from Jolse. I love Jolse's reviewer program! You apply and they randomly select a number of people to try out a specific product each week. I love it because it doesn't take into consideration your social media follower counts, it just requires you to have one so the review can be shared. Jolse also provide the reviewer with a month or so to compensate for shipping and testing period. To me that makes it less about the numbers and more about the genuine reviews.

Anyways, I digress.. I was lucky to be chosen to test out the 302WHITE II Step Nano Melting Bio Mask back in August! I was pretty excited because this is a new brand to me! I also love reviewing masks because it's just use up and then be done. I don't have lots of opened products sitting around. Does anyone else get stressed out with the amount of opened products they have? I am starting to get that and now doesn't want to hoard products if I can.. Masks are different issues....😅

Back to the point. This is a two step mask that have a hydrogel as the first step, and a thick cream as step two. This sounds like a dream to a lazy bum like me!

So the steps are actually called: Nano Melting Bio Mask & Bio Maskream. I am gonna discuss them separately and then the overall result.

As always, even though I received these for free, all opinion expressed are my honest opinion regarding the product.

Nano Melting Bio Mask

Step 1 is the Nano Melting Bio Mask, which is purported to use the HAF (Heating Activate Film) Technique to create a new generation of hydrogel. It is shown as having a layer of mesh between two layers of hydrogel. Not to be rude, but isn't that how majority of the hydrogels are composed of? I always noticed a layer of mesh on majority of the hydrogels I used.. It's not really new technology. 😅

The purpose of the mask is to deliver rich moisture to the skin through wood-cultivated ginseng and Sacran. Unfortunately there is no English translation of the ingredients list, so I am just going off of Jolse's translation of the brand's advertising materials. =__=.

The mask comes in a 20g pouch and supposedly is a transparent liquid non-sticking gel formula.. Well.. Let me tell you this.. That is DEFINITELY true. That 20 g led to a drippy mask and A LOT of leftover essence in the pouch. The leftover essence is enough for more than two applications directly onto the skin. That's a lot!

The essence itself has a strong chemical scent to it, but it also has a sweet note to it. I don't really like it but it wasn't too noticeable when the mask is on my face.

The hydrogel mask itself has an interesting design, in that there is two little tabs on the forehead to help separate the mask from the backing. It didn't work honestly. I had the mask on my face and had a lot of trouble trying to separate the mask from the backing. And this is after I already separated one tab to take photos! The adherence is TIGHT. It made me question whether I was supposed to remove it or not! (Clearly I was supposed to, but I had a moment of doubt) Removal of the backing led to half of the mask falling off of my face and I had to readjust. So that wasn't too much fun.

The actual mask hugged my skin well, and only required minor adjustment around the chin area. I didn't really like the upper lip piece as it was a little too big for me so it was constantly slipping onto my upper lip. But that was probably my only issue with the actual hydrogel mask.

It is recommended to use the mask for 10 to 20 minutes. I had it on for about 15 minute mark as the upper lip and chin areas are starting to really dry out. Which is too bad as I would have liked to keep it on for a little longer.

It didn't take long for the essence to sink in and left my skin feeling cool to the touch. It was also dewy and plump! That's the effect I am looking for! I also kind of got this when I applied the excess essence to my skin the next day!

Oh.. I think it's supposed to be brightening too but I never notice the difference so I am not even gonna bother to mention it. (Sorry but not really)

Despite the scent and challenges with removing the backing, I was left pretty happy with step 1.

Bio Maskream

This is a thick cream that is supposed to have a sherbet like texture and contains wood-cultivated ginseng extract, collagen and peptide complex. Its purpose is to nourish, protect and moisturize the skin by forming a protective barrier.

This is definitely a thick cream! It retained the ripple caused by being squeezed through the opening. It has a citrus floral scent to it. I don't hate it but I also don't love it.

It went on oh so smoothly! It's like velvet on my skin and sunk in so quickly! It left my skin looking a tad shiny but feeling oh so dewy without the stickiness! I absolutely loved it!

Oh, and even though 3g sounds like it's nothing, I managed to get over 2 uses out of it!

Overall Result

Well, my skin was SO plump and dewy after the two steps! I woke up to a bouncy and dewy skin the next morning! I was so happy! I applied the leftover essence and cream the following day, and let's just say my skin was very happy that day too.

Speaking of which, it is recommended that this to be used at night and I agree. I just happen to prefer masking at night, but I do think using it in your evening routine will really help the products sink in while you are sleeping.

If you can't tell from all the exclamation marks so far, I really liked this mask!

I honestly think this is more like a three step in one package. It consist of the mask, serum (leftover essence) and cream steps of your routine. It's perfect for a lazy bum like me, or someone who wants to pack light for overnight trips ^_^

I think the price point is also well worth it, as it is currently selling at US$24.50 for a box of 10. It is less than US$3 per piece, which is less than some of the other multi-steps masks available.

One thing I would change is to include an English translation of the ingredients list. ^_^

Just want to thank Jolse for sending these wonderful masks to me and for introducing me to 302WHITE.
