[JOLSE] - NACFIC Real Floral Toner in Rose

 Hey guys~! Another blog post. Who am I? Hahaha I kid. 

This is the third part to my posts with Jolse, you can read part 1 - Lips (here) and part 2 - scalp (here). Now my last post is finally skincare related. Hehehe. I figured after all the makeup and scalp, I should go back to the topic I normally blog about. I decided on the NACIFIC Real Floral Toner in rose because I am a sucker for rose products, especially ones that has rose petals in it! 

Before we continue, in case you haven't read the previous posts in the series. I was approached by Jolse to select products to review. I am now like 6 9 months behind in reviewing these products, so you know I had A LOT of time with these products and have definite opinion on them. What I love about Jolse is that they ask for my honest opinion. What I state in this post is my honest opinion of these products. 😊

Let's move on to the product. 

[JOLSE] - Scalp Care

 Hey folks, how are you doing? Can you believe it's almost middle August of 2021!? (yah... I ummm am really bad at procrastinating...😅😅) I can't believe it. Things changed so much within the last few months for me and I am just shocked at how quickly time flies by. 

I feel sort of bad because Jolse let me choose products at the end of 2020 and I am just posting about them. But the plus side is that I am almost done most of the products so I had enough time to form a solid opinion on all of the products. 

With Jolse, I was able to select the products myself and I chose to split it into three categories, lips, scalp, and face. The lips were the AGATHA x TONYMOLY lipsticks, which you can see the review here. 

For scalp care, I chose the AROMATICA Rosemary Scalp Scrub and the NATURE REPUBLIC Shampoo Brush. I chose these because I been having some flaky scalp so I needed some help. SO let's move on and see how I like these products! 

[JOLSE] - AGATHA x TONYMOLY Lipsticks

 Hi folks~ I hope 2021 has been going great for you so far. Today I have a lipstick swatch and wear test post for you~ 

A couple few months ago, I was approached by Jolse, a Korean shopping site. They have been one of my favourite sites to buy from since I started in Kbeauty years ago. They always offered excellent service, free shipping and a LARGE selection of products. So I was ECSTATIC that I was approached to review products for them~!! Of course I said yes. 

Let me explain why I was so excited. They have a large selection of products, which gives me a lot of variety of options. But what makes me so excited is that Jolse has no requirement in terms of the reviews. They simply ask for my honest opinion on the products they carry. If you have been on here before, you know that I always provide my honest opinion on products. SO I don't do well with sites or brands that ask for favourable reviews only. Sometimes a constructive criticism/opinion is just a suggestion on how the product can be better, and not an attack on the brand or their products. Especially with skincare, people's skin are so different that the same product will work differently on everyone. 

Anyways, I digress. I was excited that Jolse asked me and they told me I can choose whatever I want to review. So I chose a few things that's been on my wishlist! Of course, one of the top wishlist items is the AGATHA Premiere lipstick. It reminds me of Sailor Moon so I been eyeing it for a while. I also picked up one of the new Tonymoly lipsticks because I been wanting some new red lippies 😁

I have gone a little rambly, so let's move on with the review~! 

[BELIF] - The True Cream - Moisturizing Bomb

Hi Everyone~~~ HAPPY 2021~!!! Can you believe we are already 4 months into the new year? 2020 has been quite a wild ride for everyone around the world. I hope everyone is doing well and good things coming for everyone in 2021. 😊😊

I was going to blog more often last year but I was surprised to see my last post was more than 9 months ago. Which is crazy. But understandable. I started a new job in May 2020 that was a LOT more taxing than I expected. I just haven't been in the mood to blog, and the pandemic just made me lose interest in really doing skincare on a regular basis. (Thankfully I left that job a month ago and has been feeling much better. Seriously though, I have definitely learned a big lesson with that job. It's that a toxic work environment is not worth risking your mental and physical health for. You are replaceable to the company, but irreplaceable to yourself. So if the conditions permits, then go and find a new job and LEAVE!!)

Though, I have slowly moved back onto the skincare train since I realized how important a healthy skin barrier will help in preventing maskne. I suffered a REALLY bad case of maskne from May to about mid summer. This is because I was required to travel to work every day and have to wear a mask during my commute. Even though I used cotton masks and used face wash to wash everything, I still had a bit of contact dermatitis, aka maskne. I was watching an IG live from Be Mused Korea and Youtube video from James Welsh (he's a delight with his brother, they are hilarious), where they mentioned a heavier cream and strengthening your skin barrier will help with the maskne. I have tried multiple creams, but today I am going to talk about the BELIF The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb that was gifted to me by Influenster. 😊 I am talking about it because it is the cream I am currently using. I'll discuss the other creams I been using in upcoming posts. 

As always, even though this was provided to me complimentary in exchange for my opinion, I am going to share my honest opinion on the cream. 😊

[AYSWE] - Formosa Charms Hydrate and Glow Face Oil with Squalane

Hi everyone, how are you doing? Is the weather warming up in your part of the world? It is warming up here and I am glad to finally have my windows open and get some fresh air coming in. I am also glad to have some of my international packages arriving! Canada Post has been restricting international parcels as there are less flights coming into the country due to COVID-19. I am not complaining since it makes it extra special when I receive a package!

One of the packages I received during the pandemic is from AYSWE and their Formosa Charms Hydrate and Glow Face Oil with Squalane! (that's a mouthful eh?) It is a facial oil that I won from their Instagram giveaway and I was pretty excited to try it! So this is a first impression of the oil, as I have only tried it for 2 weeks. As always, all opinions are mine and based on my experience with the oil! 

Just as a heads up. This is a LONG read! 😉

[KLAIRS] - Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

Hi everyone~ How are you doing with the quarantine? Hope everything is well with everyone. I been kind of just enjoying the time off and going through my products. One of the products is the Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop that I won in a giveaway on Instagram.

This is actually my first pure Vitamin C product and I was quite curious about it. I am not really into Vitamin C products because I don't like how unstable they can be and I don't focus on brightening products often. I actually had my eyes on the Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask but couldn't get my hands on a sample of it. So I was happy to get my hands on the Vitamin Drop from the same line as it's gotten some really good reviews. I thought perhaps if this works out well, I may just buy the Vitamin E mask. So let's see what I think of it!

Hyggee All-In-One Set

Hi everyone, how are you doing? Can you believe we are now into the 3rd month of 2020? Doesn't the time just seem to pass by so quickly?

Today I am going to review a brand that I was quite interested in and had to snag up a box set when it was on sale. I finished using them up recently and I am ready to post my thoughts on the set and a part of the Hyggee brand.

Hey everyone~ I am back with a blog post on a brand that I love! I saw that Jolse had a recruiter even for 107 and I HAD to apply for it! I won and I am soooo happy about it! OneOSeven is one of the brands that I am absolutely in love with! I have tried their Rose Vinegar Water and Feminine Body Soap , and loved the former. I have purchased a few more of their products but haven't gotten around to adding the Coreflex Essential Liquid in my routine. So guess whose 107 family is complete!! Hehee. I digress, but lets move on with the review!

[THE YOPPPA GARDEN] - Stem Cell Pure Blood EX

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the co-owner of a local K-Beauty shop! The shop is called Goryeo Beauty and it is run by Marina and her partner. I really enjoyed talking with her, as I can see how passionate she is about Korean skincare and wants to share the different brands with everyone. She carries some of the bigger brands, but also some indie and upcoming brands. One of such brands is the Yoppa Garden. Marina kindly provided me with their Stem Cell Pure Blood EX essence to test out. So let's move forward with the review

[COMMLEAF] - Vitarice Essence Water

I have seen Commleaf products floating around Instagram and instantly fell in love with them. Especially this shot by Betweendots. It's absolutely beautiful. So I was ecstatic that they sent me the Vitarice Essence Water to review!

Mask Compilation #6 - Dr.Hsieh

Hi everyone~~ It's another mask compilation and it's Taiwanese masks again~~ This time the focus is on Dr.Hsieh, which is a brand I haven't heard of but was introduced to me by Eden from Miirushop. Miirushop is based out of San Francisco and focuses on Taiwanese beauty. I bought this set from them a year ago and finally got around to using them. Let's see how I feel about the Dr.Hsieh masks.
